Why House2Home Exists

I Started This Because I Was Tired of Watching It Done Wrong

Everywhere I worked — across years of construction, tiling, and site management — I saw the same pattern: money first, customer second. Corners cut on preparation. Communication that went quiet after the deposit. Work signed off that wasn't finished properly.

I started House2Home because I wanted to build something different. A renovation company where the obsession is the detail — where customers don't spend their hard-earned money and end up with buyers remorse. Where the finish is right, the communication is fast, and the whole experience feels easy rather than stressful.

We're not trying to be the cheapest. We're trying to be the most complete — the team that actually cares about turning your house into a home, and shows it in every stage of the job.

From helping my dad build roofs at 14, to managing £3M+ construction contracts — every stage taught me something about what doing it properly actually means.

Age 14

Always On the Tools

Growing up, I spent my time alongside my dad — building roofs, putting up fences, doing indoor refurbishments. It was never formal, but it was where the passion started. The feel of a job done right, a surface level, a joint tight. That stayed with me.

2015

Arrived in the UK — Floor Screeding

My first role in the UK was as a floor screeder. Hands-on, physical, and where I first understood the importance of subfloor preparation — lessons I still apply on every flooring job today.

2016 – 2017

Founded A Plus Tiling Ltd

I founded my first business — a tiling company based in Doncaster, taking on residential and commercial projects locally and nationally. Over the course of that period I completed 200+ tiling projects, managed a team of up to 5, and built the client relationships that come from doing reliable work consistently.

2018 – 2021

Construction Site Management

I moved into construction site management — first on the Cardiff Council Voids Programme coordinating a 20+ person workforce across multiple properties, then with Cerrig Limited across multiple sites. This period is where I learned to manage programmes, quality systems, procurement, and the kind of sequencing that turns a complex job into a clean result.

2021

Co-Founded Fancy Labels Ltd

Alongside construction, I co-founded Fancy Labels Ltd — a retail and logistics business specialising in e-commerce fulfilment. Growing it to £2.5M turnover within three years taught me that the commercial discipline and systems thinking behind a successful business are just as important as the technical work on the ground.

2024 – 2025

Major Construction Contracts

As Site Manager and Contracts Manager through Nelco Worldwide, I delivered a £3M+ shielding package at Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff — managing a 15+ person team, full ITP quality documentation, CDM compliance, international procurement, and NEC4 contract administration. I also managed the HCA 5176 Harley Street project for HCA Healthcare UK in London. These roles brought the highest standards of professional construction management I've worked to.

Everything I've learned — from screeding floors when I first arrived in the UK in 2015 to managing NHS hospital contracts — goes into every House2Home project. The difference is that here, I'm working directly for homeowners who deserve the same professional standard, with someone who genuinely cares whether the result is right. That's what House2Home is built on.
